The other day, my daughter posed the timeless question: “What did you want to be when you grew up?” Without hesitation, I dreamily responded, “A fashion designer, an architect, and an artist!” Fast forward to 2007, and I found myself in recruitment and HR — a path that the seven-year-old version of me would never have imagined.
Throughout the years, I dabbled in jewellery making, fitting it in whenever life permitted. However, the real turning point came with the arrival of my first child in 2015. That’s when I realised I longed for flexibility and a career that truly resonated with me. I also became aware of how much I missed creativity in my life.
Then, unexpectedly, I was invited to host a children’s jewellery-making party, and just like that, I was hooked! One opportunity led to another — jewellery making evolved into birthday parties, then workshops, and an explosion of crafts. Interestingly, only a small portion of my current events revolve around jewellery making, likely because of the plethora of amazing craft projects I now share with my wonderful customers!
And voilà, Crafty Vibes sprang to life — born from my passion for creativity and the sheer delight of watching others catch the creative bug!
